Dave A.01-21-25I had a difficult replacement of components of a 25 year old electric gate opener for my residential driveway. I ultimately purchased from Elite Gates because of the extensive customer support provided through chat and email. While not everything went as well as I would like, the customer support team kept me informed and answered many of my questions to help me make a reasonable selection.However, there were some negative aspects which were beyond their control:- due to weather, my shipment was delayed by a week, even though I had paid for 2-day air.- the product documentation was very difficult to understand. Part of this is because the product is Italian-made (FAAC) and the english translations in the documentation were a bit cryptic. Part of this is also because the product has so many possible installation options, it was difficult to reduce the installation and programming steps to just the simple, single-leaf swing operation with a single safety sensor needed for my installation. This last point is where Elite Gates customer support could have done better. Their tech support during the installation process was lacking.
