The Viking Access G-5 is a state-of-the-art gate operator that is designed to provide consistent and reliable performance. It uses a linear actuator to open gates to a maximum of 135 degrees, allowing for a wide range of gate openings. The G-5 is capable of 100% duty cycle operation, meaning it can work all day and night without interruption. It is also capable of handling gates weighing up to 2,000 lbs. and with a width of up to 18ft.
The G-5 features a number of convenient features, including an electronic manual release, a motor powered by the VFlex control board, speed control, and a diagnostic LCD display. It is also designed to be solar efficient and can be powered using low voltage wiring, making it suitable for a wide range of installations, including those in remote areas or where the goal is to be off the commercial grid.
The G-5 is designed to provide enough cycles per day for most installations using just one solar panel, although it is important to ensure that the panel has full sun exposure throughout the day. In the absence of sun, a solar system is not practical. The G-5 comes with an increased 3-year commercial or 4-year residential warranty and is fully ETL and UL compliant.
