The Viking Access E-4 Dual Swing Gate Operator Kit (VA-E4K-D) automates two residential swing gate leaves from a single Electronic Control Unit. Each VA-E4 operator drives a 24 VDC, 1/2 HP motor capable of moving gate leaves up to 850 lbs in weight and up to 16 ft in length, with capacity decreasing at longer gate lengths per the manufacturer's weight/length chart. The system is ETL listed and UL 325 Class I compliant for residential vehicular swing gate applications.

The single control board manages both primary and secondary operators with adjustable overlap delay to sequence leaf movement, and accepts 120VAC, 240VAC, 24VAC/VDC, or direct solar input via a dedicated port. Two backup batteries are included and deliver up to 400 continuous cycles during a power outage. The FA-XP30-10K 10K resistor-based photocell connects to the monitored UL or Re-Open terminal and satisfies the UL 325 monitored entrapment protection requirement for swing gate installations.
