The Ritron GateGuard is a bundled system of pre-programmed radios that delivers out-of-the-box 2-way voice communication and remote activation of gates, doors, and any motorized operator without trenching or hardwired intercom infrastructure. The system works like a professional walkie talkie network. Visitors press the callbox at the entry point, personnel respond from a JMX handheld radio or JBS desktop base station anywhere in the facility, and the operator is activated remotely with the press of a button. The XT Series Radio Callbox mounts at the entry point and connects directly to the operator auxiliary output. Long-range 2-way radio communication reaches up to 2 miles line-of-sight, making it suitable for treatment plants, factories, warehousing facilities, schools, healthcare facilities, gated communities, and private residences. The callbox is weatherproof and tamper resistant. VHF models operate on MURS license-free frequencies. UHF and additional VHF models require a business band license.
