LiftMaster Proprietary RFID Tags must be used with LiftMaster RFID Long Range Reader (LMSC1000). The tags are high performance radio frequency identification devices. They have been designed to be installed on the interior (LMHNTG/SPLMHNTG LiftMaster RFID Hang Tag and LMUNTG/SPLMUNTG LiftMaster Dual-Purpose RFID Tag [Windshield/Headlamp]) or exterior of the vehicle (LMUNTG/SPLMUNTG LiftMaster Dual-Purpose RFID Tag [Windshield/Headlamp]). LMUNTG Tag can be installed on surfaces that are made of glass, plastic or fiberglass. When mounted on the windshield, these tags are designed to not interfere with the vision of the driver. Installation of the LMUNTG is critical, as when installed properly the tags are designed to not interfere or obstruct the headlamp’s beam per United States DOT specific cations. Additionally, the LMUNTG offers an unmatched level of security as their design does not allow them to be removed or transferred once mounted to the vehicle. All LiftMaster tags have been tested to withstand a variety of environmental conditions such as UV exposure, vibration, temperature and humidity cycles. Tags have been engineered for the rigors of automotive use, but handle carefully during installation process.
