Helpful customer service for a new home owner

I bought a house with a non-functional elite miracle one gate opener. I described the problem to customer service who recommended me to buy a new battery and also help me find a replacement remote control. I save hundreds of dollars buying it directly from Elite versus hiring a local garage service company who quoted 5x more.

Will this battery replace the OE battery (failed) in the Elite DC-2000 back-up battery. When the gate power is shut off, the battery control panel's "Battery Low" light flashes and the gate does not open. Dick Mason, keeper of the gates Fawn Ridge Homeowners Association Florence, OR

Hi there, good question! The mbat 12v 7am battery will be a good replacement to fit inside your DC2000 backup kit. When the battery low light is lit up that means the battery needs replacement.
