The LiftMaster TECHNA IBG24DC is an industrial barrier gate operator rated for continuous duty in Class I, II, III, and IV vehicular access applications. Built around a 24VDC brushless motor with 303.5:1 direct drive gear reduction, it handles barrier arm spans up to 24 ft functional length at a 6-second cycle time, making it the appropriate choice for wide-lane industrial entries, loading docks, parking structures, and restricted-access sites where the commercial CBG reaches its limit. The 10-gauge powder-coated aluminum cabinet carries an IP65 outdoor rating and ships with two 12V 7Ah batteries standard. All settings, including arm length, speed, limits, and relay functions, are configured through the onboard LCD display with no mechanical dip switches required.

Connectivity runs over Wi-Fi or Cat 5/6 Ethernet to myQ Facility. Additional TECHNA operators and compatible CAP equipment pair wirelessly over 900MHz, supporting tandem configurations. The optional 3PHCONV transformer kit adapts three-phase service (208/240/480/575 VAC) to the operator's 120VAC input for facilities without single-phase power at the installation point.

Compatible Barrier Arms (Sold Separately)

The IBG24DC requires a LiftMaster TECHNA barrier arm. Only LiftMaster arms are UL listed with this operator. Two functional lengths are available, both in standard aluminum. Arms can be cut down in the field to match the required lane width.

Conclusion

The IBG24DC requires fixed arm installation; swingaway and breakaway configurations are not compatible with this model. Three-phase facilities require the optional 3PHCONV transformer kit. Solar installations require 2x to 4x LiftMaster SP20W12V panels wired in series; the heater accessory (HTR) cannot be used in solar applications, and solar operation is not supported in northern climates. For solar or extended standby applications, upgrading to 2x 12V 33Ah batteries (A12330SGLPK) requires the TRAY33AH tray and K41-0102-000 harness kit, both sold separately.
