The Security Brands 37-LR1 Ascent Link Reader is a wireless mesh proximity card reader for compatible Ascent cellular access control systems. It allows an Ascent-controlled gate, door, or access point to support credential-based entry without running long control wiring back to the primary Ascent unit.

The 37-LR1 communicates through the Ascent Link 900 MHz wireless mesh network and is designed to work up to 1,000 feet from a compatible Ascent Link or primary Ascent unit under typical conditions. Once paired, the reader becomes part of the Ascent access control network and can be managed through Summit Control for cloud-based access control.

This model includes one relay and three digital inputs. The relay can be wired to a gate operator, door opener, magnetic lock, or electric strike, while the digital inputs allow additional accessory devices to be tied into the access control installation. The network status LED provides visual feedback during pairing and operation.
