The Eagle 2000-FR 1 HP Slide Gate Operator is a heavy-duty commercial operator designed for large vehicular slide gates up to 2,000 lb and 45 ft long. The 1 HP continuous-duty AC drive provides the additional capacity needed for commercial, industrial, gated-community, and other perimeter entrances using larger slide gates.

The defining feature of the FR configuration is its foot-pedal release, which mechanically releases the operator so the gate can be moved manually when power is unavailable or service requires manual gate movement. This eliminates the need to use a hand crank found on Eagle's fail-secure configurations.
