The LiftMaster LA500XL20W Dual Solar Swing Gate Operator Kit is an off-grid automation package for residential and light commercial bi-parting swing gates. This dual configuration combines two LA500 linear actuators with a 20W solar charging system and high-capacity 33Ah batteries, eliminating the need to run AC power to the gate entrance.

Each LA500 actuator supports up to 1,600 lb at 8 ft, 1,200 lb at 12 ft, 800 lb at 16 ft, or 600 lb at 18 ft per gate leaf. The 24 VDC continuous-duty motors use precision-machined all-metal gear drives and open a properly configured gate approximately 90 degrees in 15-17 seconds.

The secondary actuator connects to the primary solar control system through a wired dual-gate connection, allowing both leaves to operate from one controller.
