The Ramset RAM 1000 DC Slide Gate Operator is designed for commercial and industrial vehicular slide gates requiring higher weight capacity, battery-backed operation, and continuous access control functionality. The current RAM 1000 DC is rated for gates up to 3,000 lb and 45 ft, making it a step up from the RAM 100 DC for larger perimeter entrances.

A 24V brushless DC motor drives a Size 60, 40:1 gearbox, with gate travel up to approximately 12 inches per second. Soft Start and Slow Stop help reduce abrupt gate movement, while the dual-board control system separates operator logic from DC motor control.

The RAM 1000 DC includes battery backup with two 12V 7Ah batteries, solar-ready capability, mechanical limits, EP Learn for simplified photoeye setup, adjustable close delay, and selectable Fail Safe or Fail Secure operation. A foot-pedal emergency release provides a mechanical method of disengaging the operator so the gate can be moved manually when necessary.
