The Ramset RAM 100 DC Slide Gate Operator is a 24V brushless DC operator designed for residential and light commercial vehicular slide gates. The current RAM 100 DC platform is rated for gates up to 1,800 lb and 35 ft of travel, combining battery-backed DC operation with a commercial oil-bath gearbox and adjustable gate speed.

A 24V brushless DC motor drives a Size 43, 30:1 synthetic oil-bath gearbox for smooth gate movement. Soft Start and Slow Stop settings reduce abrupt acceleration and stopping, while selectable speed settings allow the operator to be configured for the installation.

The RAM 100 DC also incorporates Ramset's dual-board control system, separating the main logic functions from the DC motor driver. Features include EP Learn for monitored entrapment device setup, adjustable close delay, One Pass operation, left/right installation selection, mechanical limits, and selectable Fail Safe or Fail Secure behavior.

For power interruptions, two 12V 7Ah batteries provide battery backup. A foot-pedal emergency release allows the drive system to be disengaged so the gate can be moved manually when necessary.
