Mobile Credentials via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE):

• Users download the Linear Access Control Mobile App and register their mobile credentials with a QR code or manual key entry.
• BLE allows adjustable range settings for access, from close proximity (Tap and Go) to long-range detection (up to 30 feet).
• The smartphone communicates with the reader, which sends the data to the controller to approve or deny access.

Physical Credentials:

• Supports HID, AWID, and Farpointe 125 kHz prox cards and fobs.
• Users present their credential within the reader’s range (up to 3 inches), which transmits the data to the access panel via the Wiegand protocol.

The access control panel makes the final decision to unlock or deny entry, ensuring secure and efficient credential validation.
