The LiftMaster LA500UL Dual Swing Gate Actuator Kit combines two LA500 linear operators with a single control system for automating bi-parting residential and light commercial vehicular swing gates. The configuration uses the LA500PKGUL primary system with an LA500DCS secondary actuator, giving both gate leaves the power and control capabilities of LiftMaster's high-capacity LA500 platform.

Gate capacity is based on the length and weight of each individual leaf. Each LA500 actuator supports up to 1,600 lb at 8 ft, 1,200 lb at 12 ft, 800 lb at 16 ft, or 600 lb at 18 ft. The 24 VDC continuous-duty motors use precision-machined all-metal gear drives and open a properly configured gate approximately 90 degrees in 15-17 seconds.

For the standard wired dual-gate installation, the secondary LA500DCS connects to the primary control box through its included junction box and extension cable. Both operators are then managed from the same control board, with separate limit programming for each leaf and a programmable Bi-Part Delay for gates that need one leaf to open first and close last.
