Rolling code remotes work as follows: find the program button on your gate/garage opener and press it once, then press the button on the remote and voila! the remote is programmed. Repeat the process for each button.

There is small slit at the bottom of the remote. Pry it open to separate the front and back of the remote. You will see the battery there.

The new LA500 model works with Security+ 2.0® remotes which include the 811LM, 819LM, 893Max etc. It will not work with the 371LM or the 373LM.

Most Stanley remotes work with LInear and Multicode receivers so it depends on the receiver that you have in your Frantz. We do sell the Stanley 105015 if that helps. If you are referring to the 373 remote control, this is a handheld remote, not a stationary keypad. But ALL remotes and wireless keypads have batteries. The remote controls have a lithium batteries.

Great question! This remote is programmed by a learn button on the back of your garage door opener. You will press the button along with the remote control button and hold it down for how ever many seconds the programming manual calls for. Please refer to the programming manual for a step-by-step guide.
