The SW300DC is one of the very firsts in the industry with a brushless motor technology. If technical details flummox you, have no fear. Brushless DC motors require low voltage power source, its parts and last longer and normally run quieter than its AC counterpart, thus saving you money in electricity, parts and repairs. Most DC motors can also incorporate a solar installation and a battery back up since they work on low voltage power. Beneath a rotationally molded cover that is virtually indestructible lurks the 24 Volt brushless half horsepower equivalent motor rated for continuous duty.

Such a small unit, only 21” wide, 17” long and just 25.5” high, it swings a 1,200 pound gate that stretches out to 20 feet, to a full 90 degree arc in just 17 seconds.

For safety, there is an emergency release, band release arm, two 8 Ah batteries are 12 VDC and capable of a backup that runs for up to 250 Cycles. The Solar Capabilities can align with both the 12VDC or 24VDC solar panel input. This motor is fully UL 325 & UL 991 Compliant and offers a full 7 year residential, 5 year commercial warranty.
