Replacement Linear Actuator for Maximum Controls Swing Gates

The Maximum Controls MAX Ultra Arm actuator is the direct replacement linear arm for MAX Ultra Arm swing gate operator installations. Made in the USA, the actuator is driven by a 24V DC motor through a direct gear drive with a 2 in tubular stainless steel output shaft and no internal chains, belts, or pulleys. The powder coated aluminum housing provides corrosion protection for outdoor installations. Stroke extends from a minimum of 39.1 in to a maximum of 60.3 in. Gate capacity scales with leaf length: 1,600 lbs at 8 ft, 1,200 lbs at 12 ft, 800 lbs at 16 ft, and 600 lbs at 18 ft. Both push-open and pull-open installation orientations are supported.

The actuator includes a built-in two limit switch system with independently adjustable mechanical limit switches and slow-down switches for controlling gate position and deceleration at both endpoints. Mechanical and electrical gate release functions are built in with key-activated manual release. The actuator is rated for continuous duty operation from -4°F to 165°F (-20°C to +74°C) without a heater.
