The D&D 210001 is a heavy duty gravity latch designed for larger wood pedestrian gates in residential, side gate, privacy, and commercial applications. The gravity-actuated mechanism self-latches automatically when the gate closes, eliminating the need for manual latching. The latch is reversible for left hand or right hand gate applications and accommodates both in-swing and out-swing configurations. A padlock point is integrated into the latch body for added security when required. Both the latching mechanism and striker bar carry a powder-coat finish with full corrosion resistant coverage, and all fasteners are fully treated with a proprietary corrosion resistant finish with powder-coated heads for additional weatherproofing. No rough edges from the stamping process and debris is removed before finishing.
