EMX IRB-MON2 Through-Beam Photoeyes

Replacing the original IRB-MON, the IRB-MON2 is a monitored, weather-proof, thru beam infrared photoeye solution providing entrapment protection for doors, gates and barriers. The IRB-MON2 Safety Photo Beam is UL325 compliant and housed in an IP65 rated enclosure suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

This universal UL325 thru beam photoeye can be used with a wide variety of monitored operators. Additionally, the IRB-MON2 photoeye is compatible with most non-monitored legacy products. Its robust construction minimizes fogging and false triggering to provide easy alignment.

The IRB-MON2 thru beam infrared photoeye is an external entrapment protection device type B1, non-contact sensor for use with automatic gates and doors. The photoeye provides a signal to the gate or door operator that the beam is, or is not obstructed. It operates up to 115 feet over a wide range of input voltages (6-35 VDC and 12-24 VAC). The receiver green alignment indicator provides status information, making set-up and alignment easy. The IRB-MON2 provides compatibility with most operators that accommodate monitored external entrapment devices per UL325.
