The EMX Patriot-MR is a compact, mid-range RFID reader designed for precise vehicle access in environments requiring tight read zones. With a circular polarized 4 dBi antenna and a read range of 6 to 10 feet, it is ideal for residential gates, parking kiosks, and carwash applications where longer-range readers are not appropriate. It supports 26-bit Wiegand and RS-232 outputs and includes audible and visual indicators for tag detection.

The Patriot-MR is field-configurable via RS-232 software for adjustable RF power, buffer timing, and Wiegand pulse settings. A trigger input provides additional control over when reads occur, helping to prevent unauthorized detection. Compact in size and rugged in design, it ships with a universal mounting bracket and is compatible with all EMX UHF EPC Gen2 credentials.
