It is designated Fail Secure, meaning the gate remains closed when AC power and battery are both lost, a critical requirement for restricted access, commercial, and industrial installations where a closed default state is non-negotiable. UL 325/991 compliant for Class I through Class IV applications, it operates in temperatures from -4°F to 165°F (-20°C to +74°C) without a heater, including battery performance. A 25 ft nickel-plated chain and mounting brackets are included.
