Our community has a doorking model 1815-330 entry control system which uses passive proximity cards. However when it is raining or very cold you must put the windows down on the card and touch the card to the reader to gain entry. My question is if there is an battery operated proximity card which would increase the distance from inside the drivers side window to operate the system without rolling down the window and if so, how much would a dozen or so such cards cost? Thank you for you time, Phil Robinson

Hi there and thank you for inquiring! There is no such thing as a battery operated card reader. You will need to upgrade your reader system to an AVI which is a long distance reader with stickers or hanging credentials. I will email you a few links for the items I am recommending.
