LiftMaster's Smart Video Intercom is a cloud-based access control system designed for residential communities. It allows residents to visually identify and communicate with guests at the entrance using the integrated camera and high-definition interface, and grant or deny access using the myQ Community app. The app also has a "press to unlock" feature that allows residents to unlock authorized entrances from their smartphones.

The intercom has a single dashboard and database that can be accessed from anywhere, making it easy to manage multiple communities. The intuitive interface has a picture-in-picture feature and a touch display for easy use by both residents and guests. It also has a customizable background on a 10-inch, full-color, 720p high-definition screen. The intercom can be remotely programmed and monitored using the myQ Community web platform, and can send configurable email notifications for code overuse or service needs. It uses Wi-Fi and a wireless link to LiftMaster gate operators to eliminate the need for trenching.

The intercom's Voice Over IP technology provides digital call quality with no long-distance charges, and the stainless steel design makes it durable and modern. It has a local system memory that allows residents to enter even when the internet is down, and is UL 294 listed for security. It can store up to 50,000 local users and 50,000 local events, and has holiday and hold-open scheduling options.

The intercom is powered by a 24VDC, 60W power supply and has a wide operating temperature range of -20°F to 130°F. It is compatible with various Wiegand input formats and has multiple input and output ports for integration with other systems. It can control up to four gates or doors wirelessly, and is designed for easy surface, flush, or pedestal mounting. The intercom is also camera ready, allowing users to connect any standard pinhole camera. It requires an internet connection, either through a wired Ethernet or WiFi network, or through a cellular connection with the optional CAPCELL module. It also requires a myQ Community subscription and a Phone.com service for VoIP.
